Like any resort for people, Misty Ridge offers many activities providing exercise and fun for our guests. While at Misty Ridge, you, the pet owner determines the frequency of these activities, possibilities include all, on a daily basis to none at all.

There are three natural spring-fed ponds and a swimming pool within Misty Ridge Animal Resort. In season, your pet can enjoy a quick cooling-off in filtered water or enjoy a brisk dip in one of three "watering holes."

Within the facilities are 40 acres of completely fenced property where your pet can run and be free to play. Sign your pet up to enjoy a romp in the field, a crisp game of ball, Frisbee games, or just that "special" attention a pet away from home often needs.

Misty Ridge allows our guests to play safely--two guests never come into contact with each other unless they come from the same home.

Doggie Daycare

For the busy or working family our "Doggie Daycare" is ideal.

Available seven days a week, Misty Ridge offers 40 acres of land including 3 ponds and a wooded area for your pet's enjoyment.

Please request at check-in if your dog would like to swim.

Special treats are also available upon request.

Pampered Puppy Package

Don't let the name fool you! This package is intended for dogs of all ages. Even older dogs will feel like pups again after participating in this activity, which includes:

■  Morning playschool
■  Afternoon nature trail hike
■  Imitation lambs wool beeding                                        
■  Afternoon snack, a chew stick, pig                                      ear, cow hoof, or low calorie snack                              
■  Bed time snack, featuring Frosty                                        Paws, ice cream formulated just for pets
