GENERAL HEALTH

Our guest health is of primary concern to us. We make available, as described below, services to ensure that their stay is a healthy, vital experience, with little variation from the treatments they receive at home. Your pet's medication is administered as you direct. There is also a charge to give medication, $1.00 per medication per day, orally or applied to skin, ears, or eyes. An additional charge may apply to administer injections. Additionally, our technicians provide routine examinations and daily grooming.

VETERINARY SERVICES

In the event your pet needs veterinarian attention, we will attempt to contact your personal veterinarian. If we are unable, we will contact ours who is on call 24 hours a day. The cost of veterinarian visit and transportation is the owner's responsibility.

NUTRITION

We furnish and provide your pet's brand of food when possible. Special diet or prescription items need to be provided. You are welcome to bring your dog's food along with them, including treats and gourmet meals, and we will use these for your pet at an extra charge. Our trained technicians monitor all daily habits to include eating, excretion, and socialization.

MEDICAL RECORDS

We must have copies of all medical records to verify administrated vaccinations to include: Dogs - Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella; Cats - Rabies, Distemper, Rhinotracheitis, Pneumonitis, Feline Leukemia. Vaccinations must be current- for your pet's own protection. We insure that all other guests' immunizations are current while staying at Misty Ridge. So, you know the pet adjacent to your is current too.

You can FAX the records to the main office before your pets stay, so we have your record on file when you come in. If your pet is on any medication please bring it and it will be administered as instructed. As well, please provide us with any special medical care that may be needed during the stay, so we can meet those needs as well as daily monitoring.
