Members' Lunch Schedule
Anyone who has never trained in Schutzhund, either in Germany, Belgium, Austria, Slovakia, or the United States will not understand this lunch schedule. Typically, Schutzhund participants in America have terrible training facilities, with no amenities for humans. In Europe, the facilities are wonderful. Schutzhund clubs are more social and family oriented, than training oriented, providing food and drink for all members and guests. They have a playground for children.
Joyce runs her club much like the Europeans. On training days, each member takes a turn provoding lunch for all members and guests. All pay $5.00 for a great meal. The $5.00 goes into the club treasury and helps defray the cost of club activities.
