Hello!  Just wanted to drop a note and let you know that Lexi made it to her new home and has spent the entire weekend exploring, playing, eating my plants, chasing the butterflies, more playing, sleeping on the sofa, making us laugh - we truly love her and are so glad that she is here with us!  Please let everyone there know that she is a happy puppy and is doing very well here with us!

Here are some pictures so that you can see how she is doing!
Take Care,
Carolyn Anderson
Ari is another great Misty Ridge pup!   A picture of Ari’s homecoming is attached.  Thank you for all of your help,     Rachel
Joyce,    I am attaching some pictures of Khloe!  She is eating normally now and adjusting to her new home.
Joyce,
Two and a half years ago, we brought home Brie, a Misty Ridge puppy from  Caisie and Dandy. I can’t begin to tell you how happy we have been with Brie in every aspect. First, her temperament is rock-solid. I would trust my life and my children’s lives with her. She is our guardian, protector, assistant, dependable friend, and loving sidekick every minute of every day. Second, her physical abilities and athleticism are unparalleled. As an example, just a few weeks ago, I had to tell her to get out of the evergreen tree she had climbed in our backyard, trying to get to a bird. She has mastered obedience and performed in agility. She can easily clear a six foot wall, and could scale much higher obstacles if required. Her raw running speed is amazing. Third, her original instincts are strong. Besides the desire to watch over ‘her’ family, she retains the original herding instincts of the breed. You do not see this with GSDs of American lineage. Brie will be herding livestock next month at one of the many herding clinics that I attend with our Border Collie. (On a personal note, a little over a year after Brie joined our family, our 10 year old Border Collie, Jersi, passed away due to spinal cancer. Not only did we feel the void, but so too did Brie, for Jersi was her constant companion. So, I did what I tend to do, and I purchased a world-class herding Border Collie puppy, Jinx. Last year, Jinx’s father was on the World Herding Team and placed 8th in the nation in overall sheep herding trials. Brie once again has a worthy mental and athletic partner.) Finally, I can’t thank you enough for maintaining your high breeding standards, your link to the European blood line, and your love for these wonderful dogs.  My responsibility to my dogs is to not only provide them with a good home, but also to continually challenge them mentally and physically so they can stay happy, healthy, and active.   All the best, Craig Cecil
Hi Joyce, Here are two pictures of Triton, our male pick out of Briska/Enzo. His ears are starting to stand up and he weighed 21.5 lbs last Saturday at his first check up. Our 11 year old Misty Ridge "Shadow" is starting to accept Triton and is putting up with Triton's puppy antics. :-) We'll send more pictures as he grows. He does a great shepherd pose (head at attention, ears erect with hind legs cocked back) but I haven't been able to get a picture of him doing it yet. More later! Jim Cheng and family
Hi Joyce,    I just wanted to send you a quick email to let you know that our puppy arrived safe and sound!  He is beautiful and perfect and is already getting along with our other dog.  We have named him Bruno.  Anyway, thanks again for everything!  We will keep in touch.  Jessica Smith
Joyce –    I just wanted to send you a couple more pictures of Gino (Mandy/Dodge March 28, 2008).  The pictures were taken on his 5 month “birthday”.  Everywhere we take Gino people are so impressed with his looks and more importantly, his temperament.  Thanks again for all of your help.    Mark Tavenner
We wanted to thank you for our dear Uri. He is the most amazing animal and truly is a gentle giant. His beauty and demeanor humble anyone who meets this incredible dog and we feel honored to be his family.  He has especially taken to our 5 yr. old son.  When he awakes in the morning and Uri hears him he gets up and runs up the stairs excitedly to greet him.  Lazy night as we were watching the Olympics he had fallen asleep on the couch and Uri would get up every so often, go over, and lick him all over his face.  Last week my husband was working on our boat at our dock.

Our son who is a great swimmer was in a large raft boat attached by a rope to the dock. Uri would have none of that. He dove off the dock, put the rope in his mouth and pulled the raft in to shore! Uri apparently did not like the idea of Jack out there. He is amazing with the animals. He lets them be only occasionally getting up to gently sniff them. Some let him others hiss and he just sweetly walks away. We all love him so much and have never had such a large affectionate male shepherds. All of us are getting spoiled with his full body hugs. ( he stands and puts his paws on our shoulders).  Thank you so much. The Bass Family

ps- he doesn't eat the cat food that's always out!
Joyce,
I am finally dropping you a note and some pics! the dogs are all doing great! Breeze (Chuck/Mandy 2 years old) is so sweet and smart and very athletic. we got her canine good citizen certificate and are now working on her therapy dog cert. Ella (adopted from you last summer 10 years old) is such a great dog. She loves the kids and is very gentle with them. It is truly an honor to have her! Turbo (Ivar/Karrie 1 year 5months)  is such a handsome boy, he looks a lot like his daddy. He and breeze are best buddies and play all day long! these dogs  are what German Shepard's  are supposed to be! anywhere we go with these dogs people comment how beautiful and well behaved they are. I know  part of that is how they are raised, but a huge part of it is temperament and genetics.  thanks for breeding such wonderful dogs!!!             Tammy Boland and family
Hi Joyce this is Tsar at 7 months 70lb very smart and friendly great dog thank you so very much .
Hi Joyce,

Just a note to let you know how Rusty (Dodge & Annie) is doing. Beside the fact that he is just a great pup he is just so much fun & has us just wrapped around his paw. He is four mths old now and weighs 40 lbs. When we brought him home it took him two minutes to fit in. Now how is that for 8 wks huh? He loves everyone. Rusty never met a stranger. He loves all adults, children, other dogs etc. He plays on the dog walk, mastered the teeter and can jump through his tire. (mini equipment) He does the sit, down and the recall. He is in the process of learning to heel. He learns everything so fast and his personality is just the best . Well, guess I have bragged enough. He is DEFINITELY a keeper and we love him so much. Thank you so much. I am attaching some pictures hope u enjoy them. Hope to see u soon.
