Thought you might like to see a recent picture of Rocco.  The Picture on the front of the card is from the first snow.  Rocco currently weighs 81 pounds, is extremely smart and is very devoted.  Naturally he is quite spoiled.  I think he looks like his mom.  He kept his dark face.  We love him!  Have a wonderful Christmas.

We wanted to send you some really cute pictures of Blitz Gill Von Der Misty Ridge (Dodge & Kora).  We get so many compliments on his attractiveness, it gives a feeling of pride and flattery.  He is almost a year old now…November 29th and we couldn’t be more pleased with him.  He has great temperament towards people, except we need to work on his manners some (working on stopping his jumping when greeting).   He appears very intelligent, in fact he does very well with verbal and hand commands.  He still has some maturing to do but he’s coming along nicely, plus we still need to get him more socialized with other animals.  He loves to play and by one of the pictures you can see he likes to swim…truly, he is like a fish in water…most of the time we have to chase him out.

The Shepherds coming from Misty Ridge are quality dogs and we would definitely come back if we were in search of another German Shepherd.

Thanks again so much for such a great companion!

Warmest regards,
The Gill’s

Happy Holidays!

Joyce,

Bruce and I thought you might like to see the picture of Woof and Harvey taken last night with Santa.  We took the dogs to the Harford Mall with hopes that they would both exhibit good behavior around lots of children and other dogs.  We could not have been prouder of their performance.
Virtually every child in the mall petted, hugged, pulled on, cuddled with, stepped on, or otherwise had contact with both Woof and Harvey, and both dogs were angelic.  We were in line with several very small dogs, some larger dogs, and even a cat for well over an hour.  At all times, Woof and Harvey interacted with the other animals, great and small, with courtesy and civility.  In fact, even with all of the distractions, both dogs consistently obeyed commands (although "stay"
was a little hard to maintain when there were so many people to love).
Further, when they finally got their turn with Santa, it took all of 1 minute to get them posed and the very first picture was great.  There was no need for retakes because they were so well behaved.  We could not have asked for better dogs!

We look forward to seeing you Saturday (barring any unforeseen weather).

Take care, and have a great day,
Bruce and Andrea
