Dear Joyce,
Here is Jemma (D'Juna & Enzo pup) at 8 months old with my 9 month old granddaughter. She is a wonderful dog and we love her very much!
And here is another picture taken of Jemma at class with a tiny puppy. She was the only dog the trainer would let stay with this tiny pup because she is so gentle!
Our best,
Kathryn & Taylor Cosby

Joyce,
Its been almost 2 years since Bella (Dodge/Bobby Lee) joined our family and we now know why your staff asked us, "Are you ready for this?" when we came to take her home. Bella is very a spirited and strong-willed lady & has taken charge of our (her) house on the Wye River! Besides watching over people, she has made sure that no other living creature is allowed to step foot on her property--including geese, ducks, buzzards, terrapins, squirrels, cats, songbirds, raccoons and even bugs!! We had hoped that she would have no interest in swimming in the river, but...of course we were wrong. Fortunately, Bella is becoming a good boat dog and we will be showing her some more of the Chesapeake this summer. She is good with other dogs, although she plays a little too rough for some. Perhaps a stay at Misty Ridge will help.

Hi Joyce,
I wanted to thank you for everything in regards to my little puppy, "Hemi" (Sophie/Dodge).
Here are some pictures for you and I'll be in touch!
Thanks again,
Tom Brewer
Dear Friends,
As max grows older...so do we! His energy is so high I think I will try his dog food!! He was very good in the parade. He now has a girlfriend...a female English Pointer the same age. Needless to say it was love at first sight. Too bad for Max, as he will get fixed soon! (I am against it but Delores is for it...so who wins?...guess!)
Love,
Paul & Delores
Dear Joyce,
You probably don't remember me, but I purchased a female puppy from you 11/29/1996. She was born in late September that year; I believe the 27th (from Jeager/Katie litter.) We named her Alexandra von Der Misty Ridge...Alex for short. She passed away this week after more than 13 years of pure joy. She was the best dog I have ever known! She was calm, friendly and loyal to the very end. She was easy to train and always eager to please. My only concern with her was that someone would want to steal her!! This picture is from about 5 years ago.
Her health was failing over the last month and I vowed to never own another dog. After having the perfect dog, how could anyone want another. The things I loved most about Alex were her temperament & her long coat. She was an incredibly strong & active dog (although a little uncoordinated at times!) She has only been gone a few days, and already I cannot ponder living without a German Shepherd in the house. I do need a little time to heal my heart before accepting another dog, but I can wait as long as it takes for another Misty Ridge Shepherd.
Thank you,
Stephen DaVanzo

Hi Joyce!
Hope all is well with you. Here are a few new pics of Tsar (Quenta & Ivar 3/10/08). He is now 15 months old and weighs 90 lbs! He is a very good boy!
Once again, thank you so very much for you contribution to a great breed!

Hi Joyce!
Here are some pics of Rueger, Harley and the new property. Rueger is either running 90mph or laying down, so getting him to pose is next to impossible! He is long & lean and very fast! Both dogs love it here though. (Now to find my own "yellow horse" and life will be perfect! ;o)
Rueger is on the left in the pics with my husband. The only way to tell them apart is by the face. Rueger has more black and he is taller & much longer than Harley. He has such a delightful disposition. My 3 year old grandson was here this past week and Rueger tolerated everything that kid did to him! Harley puts up with it too (to a point!)
Thanks,
Edith & Mike Russo
Hi Joyce,
Greetings from Baltimore!
Here are some photos of Tarzan enjoying a day at the beach. Tarzan is a big boy with a great disposition...very obedient and as you can see, a skilled swimmer!
WONDERFUL DOG!
Thanks for your devotion to a wonderful breed!

Dear Joyce,
Here are some pictures of our wonderful boy, "Bear" aka...Martins' Bear von Der Misty Ridge.
He is doing wonderful. Very intelligent! And he is almost completely potty-trained...consistency is the key.
You will see that he & Jett are getting along just fine.
I saw his uncle Sulton on your website and he is gorgeous!
Thank you again for our wonderful boy! I will keep you posted as he grows.
